If you have any more questions or need info shoot me an email or give me a call. :ford: My other diesel: 2008 Bobcat S185. Altec AT 200A boom/bucket, custom built flatbed. I don't know much about the inner workings of that tuner, but if this is gonna be your truck forever and you want more dependable power out of it there are certainly viable options.DPTuner would be my choice, I have one, and was in Modesto today to have the truck live-tuned by the creater/owner of DPTuner. 7.3 PSD, automatic, DP Tuner F5 4 Position Chip, Diamond Eye 3' down pipe, K&N hardware/NAPA 6637 filter intake, Riffraff intake boot. I believe their IC is the best available for the 94.5-97 trucks. The one exception is their CAC, or charge air cooler, or intercooler. It is my opinion, and just my opinion, that Banks products for the 7.3 Powerstroke are a bunch of cash for not a lot of return. Tuning can be worked around this, and there is a simple fooler that you can make from a air compressor pressure regulator for about 15 bucks. The module is a Manifold absolute pressure sensor, and on these trucks if you have a tune that exceeds 25ish PSI for more than a second or two it will throw an overboost code into your PCM and light up your Check engine light, and on some trucks it will defuel. On the passenger side firewall you will see a small module with vacuum hoses that has a TEE in it, the side of the T goes to your boost gauge, and picks up boost from a port on the engine. If the waste gate is hooked up, my advice is unless you are seeing manifold pressure in excess of 30 PSI on a regular basis (and I doubt you are) don't let it dump. Mike the trucks come with a Garrett turbo, what you have on that turbo is a Banks aftermarket exhaust side housing that helps spool the turbo up a little faster, it looks like it has a provision for a waste gate.
